जो रहीम मन हाथ है, तो मन कहुं किन जाहि।
ज्यों जल में छाया परे, काया भीजत नाहिं ॥
अर्थात् रहीमदास जी कहते हैं कि जिसने अपने मन पर नियंत्रण कर लिया, उसका शरीर कहीं नहीं जा सकता, चाहे वह बड़े से बड़ा पाप भी प्राप्त कर ले। जिस प्रकार जल में प्रतिबिम्ब पड़ने से शरीर गीला नहीं होता। अर्थात मन को साधने से शरीर स्वतः ही स्वस्थ हो जाता है।
jo rahīma mana hātha hai, to mana kahuṃ kina jāhi.
jyoṃ jala meṃ chāyā pare, kāyā bhījata nāhiṃ.
