पावस देखि रहीम मन, कोइल साधे मौन।
अब दादुर वक्ता भए, हमको पूछे कौन।।

अर्थ :  वर्षा ऋतु को देखकर कोयल और रहीम का मन शांत हो गया है। अब मेढक ही बोलने वाले हैं इसलिए उनकी सुरीली आवाज को कोई नहीं पूछता, इसका मतलब है कि कुछ मौके ऐसे आते हैं जब गुणी लोगों को चुप रहना पड़ता है. उनका कोई सम्मान नहीं करता और गुणहीन बातूनी लोगों का बोलबाला है।

Meaning :  Seeing the rainy season, the mind of Koyal and Rahim has become calm. Now frogs are the only ones who can speak, hence no one questions their melodious voice, which means that there come some occasions when virtuous people have to remain silent. No one respects them and it is dominated by talkative people without any merit.
