16. 

रहिमन निज मन की बिथा, मन ही राखो गोय।
सुनी इठलैहैं लोग सब, बांटी न लेंहैं कोय।।

अर्थ :  रहीम कहते हैं कि अपने मन के दुखों को मन में ही छिपाकर रखना चाहिए। लोग दूसरों का दुख सुनकर भले ही इतरा सकें, लेकिन उसे बांटकर कम करने वाला कोई नहीं होता।

Rahiman nij Man Ki vyatha,Mann hi rakhiye Goy.
Sun ithlaihein  log sab,Baanti na laihen koy. 

Meaning :  Rahim says that one should keep one’s sorrows hidden in one’s mind. People may feel proud after hearing the suffering of others, but there is no one to reduce it by sharing.
